Description
The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary for new construction of school building, access road and parking, infrastructure, housing quarters, and trailer spaces, for Breadsprings Day School, Breadsprings, New Mexico. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is planning a firm, fixed-price construction contract. The solicitation is unrestricted and is solicited on an open market basis. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on June 21, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., (local time) at the BIA, Navajo Regional Office, Federal Building, 301 W. Hill Ave., 1st Floor Conference Room, Gallup, New Mexico, 87301. There will be a tour of Breadsprings School following the meeting. Bidders are strongly urged to attend the pre-bid conference/site visit. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to enhance the Government?s ability to obtain quality construction services, at a reasonable price, increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, and contract award. Technical questions must be submitted Twenty (20) days before the bid opening date. Fax all questions to Lynelle Benallie, at 505/863-8382. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request for the IFB package to Lynelle Benallie, Fax No. 505/863-8382. Telephone requests to obtain the IFB package will not be accepted. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the lowest aggregate amount for the Base Bid item plus or minus (in the order stated in the list of priorities in the bid schedule) those Additive or Deductive items that provide the most features within the funds determined available. Faxed IFBs will not be accepted. Bid Bond of 20% is required with your bid package. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance are required upon award. Submit bid packages to the following address: BIA, Navajo Region, Division of Acquisition, Attn: Lynelle Benallie, P.O. Box 1060, 301 W. Hill Ave., Rm. 346, Gallup, NM, 87301.
