Description

The NAVFAC Washington contracts office intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Logical Apps Inc. of Irvine, CA 92618 for continuing, technical services, approximately 1,396 labor hours, through 30 September 2007 for ieFACMAN eModule support. The eModule support provides configuration and maintenance support for sustainment of ieFACMAN, which is critical to Enterprise Architecture. The ieFACMAN was developed by Logical Apps teaming with the Navy. Due to the learning curve, it is not expected that any other firm could perform within budget and the required schedule. An omnibus, competitive contract will be awarded through Seaport-e by October 2007 to continue the technical support. For this order, award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) outlined in FAR Parts 12 and 13, with FAR clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 incorporated into the order.
