- Description
- The United States Agency for International Development Mission to Tanzania (USAID/Tanzania) issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) for an umbrella grants management and capacity building program that would focus on two components of the U.S. Government’s (USG) HIV/AIDS Program: 1) establishment, financial support, and capacity building of Anti-retroviral Therapy (ART) sites for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), and 2) operation of a multi-donor program that provides small grants to indigenous organizations for projects addressing HIVAIDS prevention, care, treatment, and impact mitigation. Subject to the availability of funds, USAID/Tanzania intends to award a Cost Reimbursable Contract for $23 million over a 4-year period. This program might expand to up to $26 million due to anticipated rapid scale-up of activities to address care, treatment, and capacity building needs in Tanzania or the possible combination of the grants making and capacity building components of this contract and the technical component of ART services that is presently provided through a separate award.
