Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center-Leavenworth, 600 Thomas Ave, Fort Leavenworth, KS, 66027 intends to issue a solicitation for HVAC Repairs of Building 53 - Project Number FA IAQ53-6P. The NAICS code for this project is 238220. The Place of Cont ract Performance is Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price with a period of performance of 240 days. The magnitude of this project is $1 to $5 million. Building 53 is approximately 11,000 sq. ft. The requirement is as f ollows: All HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, chiller, boilers and controls associated with the existing buildings two pipe fan coil unit cooling and heating system is to be removed. A new four pipe fan coil system and dedicated 100% outside air system is to be installed throughout the building. This includes installing new piping and associated components, new DDC controls, a new chiller and remote evaporator, new boilers, pumps, intake hood, associated ductwork and new diffusers. Perform a test and balan cing on the entire new HVAC system. All domestic water equipment and piping is to remain throughout the building. Construction also includes basement changes which include gypsum and plaster demolition and repair, new interior communication lines to be ins talled, and wall demolition and installation. The building will also require outdoor excavation for a new stone foundation drain, exterior tuck pointing and painting, window repairs, installation of a new fire sprinkler system, power to the new mechanical equipment, and new lighting, ceilings and flooring throughout the building. This requirement is Subject to the Availability of Funds. This Invitation for Bids will be posted under Solicitation Number W91QF4-07-B-0007.
