- Description
- Q1. Are you only looking for a doc who will read the estimated number of monthly Ultrasounds and Mammo studies, or is the doc just acting as the lead for these modalities and will read all other films as well? A1. This contract for Radiology Services is for Mammography and Ultrasound films only. Q2. Would the Air Force accept having the doc work at the MTF on a FT basis as opposed to having an off-site office and reading the films at that location? A2. With the exception of Mammography and Ultrasound, we currently send all Radiographic films to Colorado to be read by the AF Academy Radiologist. Q3. Are you looking for a bid based on a daily rate, not a per study rate and with the LIP costs figured in? A3. We assume LIP costs are Lead Interpreting Radiologist costs and, if so, yes they need to be included. This LIP is for the mammo program and is a necessity for the program to be run correctly. Additionally this Radiologist needs to be a Medical Audit Lead Radiologist. This could be the same person or be on the team that reads the films. Q4. This is also a bid for analog mammography and analog US, not FFDM or teleradiology correct? A4. Correct
