Description
Request for Quotation - Q7350070006 - Copy Taped Oral History Interviews to Compact Disk (CD). The goal of this project is to produce quality CD copies of the original reel-to-reel tapes and orginal cassette tapes with sharp sound so that the speakers' words are clear and audible. The CDs will become part of the Park's museum archive collection. 439 reel-to-reel tapes on three reel sizes, non are marked with the lenght, but old documents refer to them as 30 minutes. This is not confirmed. 351 tapes are on 7" reels, most are not marked, some are marked 7.5ips and some 3.75ips. 52 tapes are on 5" reels, some marked 7.5ips; some marked 3.75ips; some are not marked. 36 tapes are on 10.5" reels, some marked 7.5ips, the rest not marked. 78 cassette tapes. They are not marked as to length. 1 mini-cassette, 15 minutes. 7 DATs. 525 total number of tapes to be copied onto CD. The NAICS code for this project is 519120 and the small business size standard is $6.5. Government will award a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation and related documents will be available electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. A paper solicitation will not be issued and electronic submission of contractors proposals will not be accepted. This is a best value procurement and award will be made based on price and price related factors. The Government will not accept an offer for award based on the superior capability without concern for the price of the offer. Non-Price factors are approximately equal to cost or price. Factors include, but may not be limited to: demonstrated abilities in work required and past performance. Details related to the source selection process will be posted within the solicitation in Section L & M. The solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about July 6, 2007.
