Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement for additional audio visual support for demonstrations of the UAV program. The additional audio visual support will augment an existing contract for a core analog-quality audio visual capability. The capability required is digital-quality video/graphics support to be displayed on an additional omnitron screen. The contractor shall provide an all-weather omnitron screen at least 20? wide by 15?tall. This screen may be multi-paneled and will display the same video as that displayed on the original omnitron screen. The contractor must provide additional camera crews, digital video inputs, digital recording devices, and mixing equipment capable of converting the analog quality video supplied by the existing equipment into digital quality video. The government has determined that only the contractor holding the core capability contract has the ability to alter the entire mix of audio visual equipment to provide a total digital-quality package. Due to the unique nature of this equipment, the Government intends to negotiate with Media Visions Entertainment, Inc. on an other than full and open competitive basis to procure these items. The required delivery date is 30 Aug 2007. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
