- DESCRIPTION: This project consists of the partial renovation of a CCC Bathhouse at Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area for the Davy Crockett National Forest, National Forests & Grasslands in Texas. The project will include some selective demolition and renovation of the historic structure, installation of a building utilities system and connection with existing site utilities system, and related site work as described in Government-provided specifications and drawings. GOVERNMENT COST ESTIMATE: Between $100,000 and 250,000. LOCATION: Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area, which surrounds a 45- acre lake, was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and is located one mile west of Ratcliff, Texas, off Texas Highway 7. It is a developed recreation area and will remain open during the contract performance period. Driving directions are as follows: From Lufkin, Texas, take SR-103 West about 10 miles and keep straight onto SR-7 about 12 miles. Turn right onto Ratcliff Lake Road for 0.7 mile. From Crockett, Texas, take SR-7 about 20 miles. Turn left on Ratcliff Lake Road for 0.7 mile. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract time will be 160 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. SITE VISIT: The date, time and location of a formal site visit will be in the solicitation that will post to this site. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry and must have completed a profile in the Online-Representations and Certifications database prior to award of a contract. Registration may be completed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors must also be registered in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications) prior to contract award, and may accomplish this on the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You must be registered in CCR and have an MPIN number before you can begin ORCA registration. SET-ASIDE: None. This project will be issued subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and will be available for FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. NAICS code for this project is 236220. The small business size standard for this project is $31.0 million. BONDING INFORMATION: A 20% Offer Guarantee and 100% Payment and Performance Bonds will be required.
