Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirment for non-personal technical services to provide training, outreach, and metadata implementation to Federal, state, Tribal, local, academic, and non-governmental metadata and National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) implementation users. Request for Proposals (RFP) 07HQSS0021 will be posted on electronic commerce on or about July 18, 2007. The RFP will state the actual deadline for the submission of Proposals. Details may be viewed on the Department of Interior Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a proposal. Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register by going to www.ccr.gov. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will consist of a one-year base period with two one-year option periods and the resulting contract will be firm fixed price for monthly services. The anticipated start date is September 30, 2007. This requirement is a small business set aside and the NAICS code is 611430. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the NBC posting system at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the NBC website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer.
