- The United States Government seeks to lease street-level, contiguous (same floor) office space, or contiguous upper-floor space which meets GSA lease criteria and has two handicapped accessible elevators to the leased office floor as an acceptable alternative. The space offered must consist of approximately 12,209 rentable square feet in Hattiesburg, Mississippi yielding a minimum of 11,092 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. A minimum of fifty-six (56) parking spaces should be available at no cost, or at reasonable commercial rates, for visitors and employees onsite or within a two-block radius of the office. Availability of public transportation must be available within two-blocks of the space offered. The space should not be located in the immediate proximity of railroad tracks. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: Western Boundary: Begin at the intersection of College and Green Street and proceed south to Hardy Street, east to Corinne Street, south to Timothy Lane, west to Highway 11/Broadway Drive, south to Timberton Drive. Northern Boundary: Begin at the intersection of Green and College Streets and proceed east to Main Street, east to Melrose, north on Brunie, east on 4th Street and south on Gordon/Elm Street. East Boundary: Begin at the intersection of Elm and Short Streets and proceed south to Main Street, north to Buschman, south to Laurel, west to Ronie, north to Railroad Street, west to 1st Avenue, north to Pine Street, west to Highway 49, north to Broadway Drive, south to Timberton Drive. Southern Boundary: The southern boundary will consist of a corridor being contiguous with Broadway Drive/Veterans Memorial Drive and ending at the intersection with Timberton Drive. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The offered space must not be located in a 100 year flood plain. No subleases will be considered.
