- Description 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB DE intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to DEXIS, LLC, 2550 Northwinds Parkway, Suite 100, Alpharetta, Georgia, 30004-2241. This acquisition is sole source. Per DEXIS's June 1, 2007 letter, the DEXIS machines were manufactured by DEXIS LLC, which retains full proprietary control; allowing other than DEXIS approved maintenance/servicing would violate patents and void warranty. DEXIS LLC (formerly ProVision Dental Systems) is DEXIS's sole institutional (governmental) customer vendor. The NAICS code is 339114. The following DEXIS service will be procured: Contractor is to provide Item number DX-116 Basic Care-Service Level Agreement for 12 each DEXIS Model 601P Portable Digital X-Ray systems. The location of the service is Dover AFB, Delaware, Port Mortuary Building 116. Period of service will be from 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. Government furnished support includes 110 voltage to power equipment. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date on or about 1 October 2007. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, 3 August 2007.
