- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bliss, TX, has a requirement for the following item: Item 0001 Portable Light Kit with Transit Case, Base-X Model #69EL001-8PK or Equal, with the fol lowing specifications: Eight (8) tubular shaped, waterproof fluorescent lights with foam cushion. Light is single strand, 25 watt/120 Volt/ 60 Hertz unit, size: 48.5 x 4 , includes hanging strips and hooks and high-impact copolymer polypropylene carrying case, Quantity = 90 each. Delivery of all items is required no later than 30 days after contract award to Fort Bliss, Texas. Specify if price is Freight on Board (FOB) Destination (Fort Bliss, TX) or Origin and related shipping charges, if any. The Sol icitation Number is W911SG-07-R-0014 issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 624230 with a small business size of $6.5M. The cont ract type will be fixed price.
