Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing the Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. If issued, the solicitation will utilize source selection procedures, which require offerors to submit technical, experience, past performance and price for evaluation by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. The intent of this notice is to identify potential U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) concerns, Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business, and certified HubZone Small Business concerns sources for a combination firm fixed price (FFP) and indefinite-delivery indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base period of twelve months and four (4) one-year option periods. The NAICS Code for this proposed procurement is 811412, Appliance Repair and Maintenance, and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. The successful offeror to any forthcoming solicitation shall provide all required labor, material and equipment, supervision for maintenance and repair of window type air conditioners and packaged terminal air conditioners, heating units, and ice machines at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, and Marine Corps Air Auxiliary Landing Field, Bogue, North Carolina.
