- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Tallahassee, Florida intends to make a single award for the provision of a Masonry VT Instructor to provide masonry instruction to the inmate population at the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Capital Circle N.E., Tallahassee, Florida 32301. The contract type is a firm fixed-price contract. The North American Industry Classification (NAIC) Code is 611159. The anticipated date of award will be approximately October 1, 2007. The contract period is anticipated to consist of a base year from the effective date of award through September 30, 2008, with three one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 10, 2007 and will be distributed soley through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed soley through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most recent information concerning this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is September 10, 2007; however, all interested parties should refer to page 1 block #8 of the solicitation for actual Due Date and time. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Payments will be made using Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required by FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications using the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sourcesay submit a quote which will be considered. Contractors must submit with their quotes photocopies of documentation evidencing their education and training.
