- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk Office, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract (see numbered note 22) with Ronald A. Williams for subscription renewal of the Autodesk Comprehensive Education Solution site license (ADI (ACES Renewal) System), which will provide continued access to a wide range of Autodesk design tools for education of midshipmen that is currently being utilized the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, VA. The subscription renewal will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The subscription renewal will be required for a twelve-month base period and two one-year renewable option periods. The effective base period of performance is projected to be 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. The North American Industry Classification System code f or this acquisition is 511210. A request for a complete proposal package will be available for download on or about 1 August 2007 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
