- DESC: Armored Steel, 4,430 ea 3/8 x4x12; 16 ea 1/4 x4x12, 24 ea 1/4 x8x12, 8 ea 3/8 x8x12, and 1,200 ea 1/2 x4x8. In accordance with DFARS 252.225-7030 acquisition is restricted to manufacturers who melt and roll the armored steel place in the United States or Canada. This requirement must meet MIL-A-12560. FOB is destination. For use on the Gunners Protection Kit. Estimated issue date is 9 Aug 07. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. This solicitation is restricte d to Mittal Steel USA, Inc., 1 South Dearborn St, Chicago, IL and Algoma Steel, Inc., 5515 North Service Road, Burlington, ON, Canada.
