- Vessel(s) Required: US or foreign flag container vessel(s) (coaster(s)) with a minimum capacity to move 125 TEU's containing munitions and minimum speed of 14 knots in one voyage with an option for a second consecutive voyage to be declared by the Government prior to the vessel?s arrival at the discharge port. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 69 FEDERAL REGISTER 25166-25168, May 5, 2004, or most current reference), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants. Cargo Description: Cargo Consists Of: 125 TEU?s containing munitions. Cargo Dimensions: Standard 20 ft containers. Hazardous Material: Yes. HAZ CLASSES: 1.1 Ammo: Yes Weapons: No Need for cargo separation TBD. Load: Free In with Owner providing lashing gear. Discharge: Free Out with Owner providing lashing gear.
