Description: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intended source is Remington Arms Co., Inc., 14 Hoelfer Avenue, Ilion, NY 13357. Re quirements are for repair of the M24 Sniper Weapon System (SWS). F.O.B. Origin. Requirements are 1 year Depot Level Maintenance with 4 additional years, for repair of the M24 SWS. Remington Arms owns the TDP for this system and in order for the repair p arts to be interchangeable and function properly, they must be purchased from Remington. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
