Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible souce and not other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements, the Minerals Management Service intends to award a sole source purchase order to Schlumberger Technology Corporation for Petrel Software and maintenance for the New Orleans location. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compellling and convincing evidence that competititon will be advantageous to the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purpose only. However, all information received within 15 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
