- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of various bread products for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12-month period. The estimated contract requirements include: 60,000 loaves of white bread; 60,000 loaves of wheat bread; 169,200 hamburger buns; 169,200 hotdog buns; 80,000 dinner rolls; 40,000 English muffins; 6,750 hoagie buns; 9,000 loaves of Kosher and Parve whole wheat bread; and 15,000 loaves of Texas Toast. The solicitation will be available on or about August 23, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
