Item 0001: NSN 2840-01-200-5345PR, P/N 9343M79G02, applicable to the F110 Engine. Description: Cover that fits on the Aft side Turbine Frame Assy covers #5 Bearing Sump. Dimensions are approximately 16.65 inches diameter x 12.45 inches includes welding. Material is AMS 5536. Destination: Tinker AFB OK 73145. Delivery starts 345 DARO. Anticipated quantity ranges of 14 ea to 38 ea and 39 ea to 63 ea and 64 ea to 86 ea. The best estimated quantity is 57 ea but the actual quantity will be determined at time of award. A Government First Article Test will be required for if the contractor has not made this item within the last 36 months. The approximate issue date is 30 Aug 07. The approximate response date will be 1 Oct 07. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps and should be obtained from there. Please do not call this office for a solicitation. The solicitation/procurement data list is approved for release only to U.S. DoD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). Submission of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. The technical data will be posted on the www.fedteds.gov website and will not be available until the solicitation is posted. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
