Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR Part 13.5 and FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote solicitation number is M00681-07-T-0114. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 333924 with a size standard of 750. The FSC code is N025. The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest, Camp Pendleton, CA has a requirement for One Truck mounted, 5,000 gallon poly water tank. The contractor is to remove the existing stainless steel water tank from crash rescue truck, USMC vehicle number 294473, 1995 IHC 2674, serial number 1HTGLAUT85H622529. A new poly water tank shall be provided and installed. The contractor is to provide and install the truck cradle and retainers required to mount the new tank. All plumbing, hoses and electrical will be provided, installed, and made operational by the contractor. The work is to be warranted against material defects and workmanship for at least 1 year. The contractor will be responsible for disposal of the removed stainless steel tank. The Government will transport the vehicle to the contractor?s facility and pick it up upon completion of the work. The Government will accept quotations from qualified sources within a 500 mile radius of Camp Pendleton, CA. A site visit will be conducted on Wednesday, 22 August 2007 at 9:00a.m., at building 22151. Parties who intend on attending this visit should contact Kevin Ham at the email address listed below. Attendance is NOT mandatory. Evaluation - The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advant ageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The fol lowing factors will be used to evaluate quotes. (1) Compliance with Specifications, (2) Completion Time and (3) Price. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of electronically transmitted quotations and should confirm receipt.
