Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is W912JF07T0023 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Contractors may obtain a copy of the combined synopsis/solicitation with any attachme nts (i.e. menus, wage determination, rating sheet, meal projections) on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp?SolType=Simplified%20. This solicit ation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The proposed contract is unrestricted. This solici tation is subject to exercise of the preference policy regarding qualified State Licensing Agencies (SLAs) in accordance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act. An acceptable quote from a qualified SLA will receive preference in accordance with the Randolph-Sheppa rd Act. There have been conversations between the contracting office at Camp Robinson and a qualified (SLA) in the State of Arkansas regarding interest in providing the services identified in this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotati on, which shall be considered by the agency. The associated NAICS code is 722310 with a $19.0 million size standard. Contractor shall provide all personnel and supervision necessary to perform Food Service Mess Attendant Services. Service is for approximat ely for 12 weeks. Contractor tasks and duties to include but are not limited to food preparation, operating the serving line, cleaning the kitchen, pots, pans, and dining hall. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work. Past perf ormance is approximately equal to price. LINE ITEM 0001 (1) Lump Sum; Food Service, Furnish all supervision, labor, and supplies necessary to provide food service at the consolidated dining facility (building 1549) located at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas in acco rdance with the attached Statement of Work. The U. S. Department of Labor, Wage Determination No. 2005-2033 REV (2) dated 11/06/2006 will be applicable to the contract. LINE ITEM 0002 (1) Lump Sum; Dining Attendant, Provide all labor, janitorial supplies, dishwashing supplies and any other resources necessary to perform dining attendant duties at the consolidated dining facility (building 1549) located at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. SITE VISIT. A site visit wi ll be conducted on 30 August 2007, at Fort Chaffee, at 10:00. If attending site visit please respond in writing with your company information and names of personnel attending at least three days prior to TSgt. Nicholas DeGuire. Ensure you have a valid driv ers license with current vehicle registration and proof of automotive insurance. Quotes are due no later than 7 Sept 2007 at 11:00 a.m. CDT.
