Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference no. N6112807RC093YA is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 Effective 14 June 2007. Sic code 5712. NAICS code 442110. A written proposal is requested to provide for Line Item Numbers: (Item 0001): CHAIR, OCCASIONAL Ant-Microbial Fabric, Stain and Water Resistant, Mildew-proof, Removable, Replaceable and Washable CoverAbility to disassemble into parts to allow for removal of all covers for cleaning/replacement. Ability to disassemble into parts to allow for removal of all covers for cleaning/replacement. Ability to disassemble frame to allow for component replaceable parts. Request a high quality, durable fabric type w/ability to withstand numerous washings, normal wear and tear Fabric Color and Pattern will be determined and selected among the choices offered by solicitors/proposals. Fully upholstered in modern, contemporary design, constructed to reasonably withstand extreme tropical temperatures in storage. Preferred product shall offer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and against structural damage incurred through normal use, for a minimum period of 20 years from date of purchase. Warranty shall cover basic structure of the furniture; the frame; the construction of the arms, base, back, and all fasteners. The warranty should also cover the foam against defects in its manufacture and composition against "flattening" for the same 20 year period. Vendor should either replace or repair furniture or supply customer with replacement parts. Damage to Fabric and all items beyond vendor's control are not required to be covered. QUANTITY: 200 EACH.
