Description

The Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208, intends to solicit for and award a firm fixed-price contract for full service and preventative maintenance of various Steris sterilization equipment. Sources are being solicited to identify any potential vendor capable of performing this work who fits a SBA-approved socio-economic classification. If at least two responsible sources are identified that fulfill the same socio-economic category, the Contracting Officer may set this solicitation aside. If no responses are received, or there is no level of response adequate to justify a socio-economic set-aside, the Contracting Officer may release this solicitation to the open market. Under the provisions of PL 109-461, if only one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Veteran Owned Small Business concern is determined responsible and offers reasonable pricing, the Contracting Officer may set this work aside to negotiate a sole-source award. Multiple SDVOSB or VOSB responses deemed able to perform this work will result in an appropriate competitive set-aside. The equipment to be serviced (Preventative Service/Maintenance w/ emergency support and on-call) is as follows (all models are Steris/AMSCO.): 1.) Model 3012 Washer/Sterilizer, SN 013540028. Located in Operating Room Suite, 2nd Floor C-Wing. 4 PM/Year. 2.) Model V116 Pre-Vac Steam Sterilizer, SN 013260016. Located in Operating Room Suite, 2nd Floor C-Wing. 4 PM/Year. 3.) Model 90A2 System 1 Fiberscope Washer and Sterilizer #2, SN 209760. Located in Operating Room Suite, Room C267. 2 PM/Year. 4.) Model 90A2 System 1 Fiberscope Washer and Sterilizer #3, SN 213294. Located in Surgical Service, room A534. 2 PM/Year. 5.) Model 90A2 System 1 Fiberscope Washer and Sterilizer, SN 216387. Located in Surgical Service, room A534. 2 PM/Year. 6.) Model P1000 System 1 Fiberscope Washer and Sterilizer, SN 218274. Located in the Operating Room Suite, Room C267. 7.) Model P1000 System 1 Fiberscope Washer and Sterilizer, SN 218279. Located in the Operating Room Suite, room C287a. Emergency/On-call labor and service is required for all equipment listed above. Multiple option years will be solicited for anticipated award.
