Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF AN INTENDED SOLE SOURCE AWARD. The 301st Operational Contracting Office, NAS JRB (Carswell Field) Fort Worth, Texas intends to award a Sole Source delivery order against a GSA contract held by Motorola Corporation. The award will consist of purchase of twelve (12) each - XTS 5000 Model Radios 1s to include: 12 each Portable Astro Digital XTS 5000; 12 each - Astro Digital software; 12 each ? Batteries; 12 each _ XTS UCM Hardware; 12 each ? AES/DEX DES-OFB Encryption; Two (2) Year Encrypt Service Plus; 12 each - SmartNet Software; 12 each ? Antenna, Helical UHF; 12 each ? Project 25 Software; 12 each ? NTIA Encrypt; AES/DES Encrypt. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. ?This notice of intent is not a request for competetive proposals. However, all proposals received within eight (8) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.? (Note 22).
