- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The subject solicitation, F1F3E97166A004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-03, Effective 11 Apr 2005. (iv) The following CLINS are applicable to this solicitation: CLIN 0001 Automatic pizza dough press with stand, includes electronic temperature control, decreases gas formation in the dough allowing cooking to be achieved evenly throughout the food, features safety devices, fulfills capacity of 400 pizzas per hour, 1 ea.; CLIN 0002 Direct Delivery to Aviano Air Base, Italy, 1 jb. ***ADDITIONAL PRODUCT INFORMAITON PROVIDED BELOW IN ITEM XV OF THIS RFQ*** (vi) Delivery Address: Aviano School Cafeteria Servery (Room C26) Edif. 151 Area 1, Base Aerea di Aviano, 33081 Aviano (PN), Italy. Delivery of items will be 30 days from date the contract is awarded. (vii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (viii) This is a competitive best value acquisition utilizing Price, Technically Acceptable (PTA) evaluation criteria. Technical acceptability is more important than price. The government may award to a higher priced offeror if such offeror is determined more technically acceptable. Only items that are rated technically acceptable will be considered for award. (ix) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda are also attached: 52.233-3, Protest After Award, 52.247-34 -- F.o.b. ? Destination, 252.204-7003, Control of Government Personnel Work Product, and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (x) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following addenda are also applicable: FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration (Oct. 2003)(31 U.S.C. 3332). FAR 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases (Mar 2005) (E.o.s, proclamations, and statutes administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury). (xi) All prospective offerors must guarantee a one (1) year warranty on materials and workmanship for all contract line items. (xii) The response date for this acquisition is 24 August 2007 at 1700 hours.
