- Description
- The 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, requires a contract for non-personal laundry and dry cleaning services. Work is described as laundering and dry cleaning of items in a manner that will ensure items are cleaned in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. An electronic solicitation for this requirement is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov on or after 9 May 2007. The successful contractor shall comply with the requirements of the performance-based work statement, which will be included in the anticipated solicitation. The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812320 with an associated small business dollar size standard of $4.5 million. The Service Contract Act of 1965 applies to this acquisition, and this requirement will be unrestricted and open to all firms, including small and small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. The anticipated performance period is 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2011, which includes three (3) one-year option periods. However, there is no guarantee that the option periods will be exercised. All offerors must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov, the On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) website at www.bpn.gov, and have a tax identification number and a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number.
