NSN 4720-00-640-0398. Estimated Yearly Quantity is 445. Unit of Issue is EACH. This is a CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM. Drawing Number I/A/W Spec Number MIL-DTL-8795E Basic; Amendment Number E; Type Number MS28741-5-1070. I/A/W Std Number MIL-STD-129P(3); REFNO; Amendment Number P; Type Number Type 1 Shelf Life 120 months. I/A/W Spec Number MS28741J; REFNO; Amendment Number J; Type Number MS28741-5-1070. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Subject requirement is for acquisition of one (1) National Stock Number (NSN) for various end items. Proposed procurement includes an item within Federal Supply Class (FSC) 4720. See notes 1, 9 and 26. Requirement will result in award of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) contract for which Delivery Orders (DOs) may be placed for three (3) years. Solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on August 23, 2007 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. Scope of this contract includes acquisition of a 1G drawing number item. AMSC code implies items have already been found to be competitive and data is technically suitable and legally clear. Delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. Proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period two (2) times at the discretion of the Government. Total duration (base plus two (2) option years) shall not exceed three (3) years. Final award decision will be based on evaluation of price, delivery and past performance. Solicitation will be issued as UNRESTRICTED.
