- PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 333912, Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation to the offeror providing a brand name, low cost technically acceptable product. The requirement is for the following brand name items and quantities: Draeger, SCBA-G Breathing Apparatus, QTY 40; Draeger CB M-53 Mask (personally fitted), QTY 80; Draeger Cylinder & Valve Assembly Kits 4500 PSI - 60 minute carbon composite, QTY 40; C420 Rechargeable batteries (2 each) with Cap and Charger, QTY 40. Please include item numbers and associated descriptions. Quotes shall include all shipping costs as applicable. All deliveries under this requirement will be FOB destination. Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Andrea Campbell at andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before August 30, 2007 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time. Responses must be marked as follows: 0223327. All correspondence regarding this requirement must be submitted via email to Andrea Campbell. This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-18, effective June 30, 2007. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Sept 2006) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov." Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2006) is incorporated. Contractors may submit their online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following government portal: http://orca.bpn.gov. Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007), and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items (Mar 2007), apply to this solicitation.
