- Description
- This is amendment number one to combine synopsis/solicitation for Public Opinion Polls in Haiti. Solicitation No. 521-07-015 is hereby amended as follows: A. The following sentence is added to the Description of Services: ?The sample size for each poll should support a margin of error of 3 percent.? B. The following requirement under ?Responsibilities of the Contractor? is deleted in its entirety: ?3. USAID reserves the right to approve local staff contracted for training and polling to ensure professionalism and objectivity due to the political sensitivity of some of the questions.? C. ?Instructions to Bidders? is hereby changed to ?Additional Instructions to Offerors.? D. The following is added to the Additional Instructions to Offerors: ?USAID/Haiti has a particular interest in target geographic areas for its FY 2007-2009 Haiti Country Strategy.? ?Due to the political sensitivity of the survey questions, the proposal must demonstrate the Offerors? ability to contract local staff for training and polling that possesses the highest ethical and professional standards.? E. Last page, delete ?The subject line for all communications must read RFP 521-015? and replace with ?The subject line for all communications must read RFP 521-07-015.? F.
