- The government intends to award a Firm Fixed price contract for the following item(s): ROLLING STAIRS; SPECIFICATIONS: TUBE ALUMINUM 4"X4"X1/4" WALL, PIPE ALUMINUM 1" SCH 40, PIPE ALUMINUM 2" SCH 80, PLATE ALUMINUM DIAMOND TREAD 1/8 THICK CHANNEL ALUMINUM 7"X2.299"X.419", ROUND BAR ALUMINUM 3/8" DIAMETER CASTER 4" CAST IRON, SWIVEL, LOCK WITH FACE BRAKE 2000LB CAPACITY CHANNEL ALUMINUM 7"X2 3.4", SWIVEL LOCK HITCH PINS .375 DIAMETER 2.75 LONG SELF LOCKING RING SNAP PINS WITH CHAIN. This material must meet all aspects of the stated requirement to ensure safe access onto and off Landing Craft Air Cushion in order to conduct loading operations at the sea base. Work will be performed in the (Hampton Roads) Norfolk, Virginia area. The proposed RFQ N00189-07-T-0534 will be posted on or before 1 September 2007 with a response date of 10 September 2007. The required date is 21 September 2007 for completion. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that the prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make the offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://ccr.gov. At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide the following: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF1449 which identifies the requested item, with its unit price, extended price, total price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, Tax I.D. #, Duns #, and Cage Code.
