Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), with George Washington University, Medical Faculty Associates, Department of Emergency Medicine, 2150 P ennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC, for the acquisition of the services of emergency medical technicans and other support personnel (i.e.ambulance services) trained to respond to toxic chemical warfare agent injuries or casualties. The services will be provided on site for at least ten (10) hours a day, five days a week at the Spring Valley FUDS Project, Washington, DC beginning o/a 10 September 2007 through 16 November 2007 with an option to extend through 14 December 2007 for a total of 14 weeks. The sole source determination is based on this being a follow on contract to Blanket Purchase Agreement DACA31-02-A-0001 for the continued provision of highly specialized services. Delay in fulfilling the agency's requirements are unacceptable. No solicitati on package is available.
