- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation No. W912BU-07-T-0087 for Genuine Alco Diesel Engine Parts (camshaft bushings, piston ring set, cylinder liner open grain, and studs cam shaft) f or Alco 251C Series Engines used on board the Dredge McFarland. All parts are to be new and shall be packaged and marked as specified in the solicitation. Any offer of remanufactured or rebuilt parts is unacceptable and will be denied. All parts provide d shall be genuine Alco authorized OEM replacement parts. No aftermarket parts will be acceptable. Certification must be provided stating that all materials being supplied are genuine ALCO parts. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. RFQ No. W912BU-07-T-0087 will be available on or about 10 September 2007. Solicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDs) system webpage at ht tps://www.fedteds.gov. Interested parties must register as a Vendor with FedTeDs before accessing the system. In order to register as a Vendor in FedTeDs, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system (http://www.ccr.gov ). Interested offerors can access the data for this solicitation through the hyperlink established in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) system (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) announcement, which will redirect to the solicitation-specific data in FedTeDs. Registration for updates to plans and specifications should be made on the FedBizOpps webpage for this solicitation. The FedTeDs system does not allow for offerors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be performed throug h the FedBizOpps system. Offers will be due on 13 September 2007 at 11:15 a.m. ET and can be faxed to 215-656-6798, ATTN: Linda M. Dobbs. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available. This pr ocurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 333618 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR) be fore award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
