Description

This solicitation is for services to chemically treat 589 acres for the invasive species, salt cedar (Tamarix ramosissima) aka “tamarisk”. The area to be treated is located in the Cimarron National Grassland in Morton and Stevens Counties, Kansas. The estimated cost of this contract is less than $100,000.00. The NAICS is 115310 and the small business size standard is $ 6,000,000.00. Solicitation AG-82X9-S-06-0185 will be issued and posted on this web-site within several days. The solicitation will be set aside for small business concerns and all responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes from other than small business concerns will not be considered. The agency anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures. The estimate award date is July 14, 2006 with an estimated start date of July 21, 2006. The period of performance will be 90 days from notice to proceed. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-MAY-2006).
