Description

This is an amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as stated in the subject line. The following were questions asked from potential contractors with the Government's response: Question 1. In order to facilitate the fabr ication of the wyes, can the bent section be fabricated with one of the following options: 1. using stitch cutting and full penetration welds 2. bolting an angle to the sheet then bolting the wye to the angle? Response: Neither option is acceptable. The bent portion of the wye is to be mechanically bent, not fabricated. Question 2. What about Performance Period? Response: the sheets are to be delivered within 18 months of the order date. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (05-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
