- The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Qwest Communications-Seattle, 9928 171st Avenue Southeast, New Castle,Washington 90859-5940, pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for the provision of data circuits for existing telecommunictions circuits. The data circuit/local loop is necessary for the Agency's continued use of the Electronic Health Record system, electronic mail, T1, Frame-relay, 56kbs circuits, RPMS, ITAS, and Internet access. The independent telecommunications company is the only vendor able to provide local loop access to the Indian Health Service for the Wide Area Network. The period of performance shall be for one year.
