- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a quote is being requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. This is being pursued as a renewal to a lease already in existence. This acquisition is for the purchase of a library book lease. The library book lease will be for sixty books per month for twelve months. The NAICS Code is 424920; size standard is 500 employees. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000.
