- The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis to a small business for the following service: The contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, equipment, transportation and parts necessary to provide rental pickup, cleaning, and weekly delivery of 18? X 18? shop lint free towels (quantity of 6,850 blue) and seven (7) 4? X 6? dark gray mats to various locations listed in the Statement of Work. The proposed period of performance is anticipated to be a 1 year base period commencing on 1 OCT 07 through 30 SEP 08 with three (3) 1-year option periods. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Availability of Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is 21 Sep 07. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.org. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 812331 with a size standard $13.0M.
