- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responses to this Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ) must make reference to Solicitation Number FA2816-07-T-007. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Code (NAIC) associated with this requirement is 812331, Linen supply, with a small business size of $12,000,000. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. Los Angeles Air Force Base has a requirement for Linen Service at the Ft Mac Inn, San Pedro Ca 90731, Bldg 37 Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo California. The service shall include linen services to meet the following weekly approximates ,White Bath Towels, 24" X 50" 460 (weekly total), Hand Towels, 16" X 27", 250 (weekly total), Blankets Queen, 20 (weekly total) Blankets Twin, 10 (weekly total) Sheets, Twin Flat 48 (weekly total) Sheets Twin Fitted 48 (weekly total), Bath Mats, 140 (weekly total), Mattress Pads Queen, 150 (weekly total) Mattress Pads Twin 10 (weekly total), Bedspreads Queen, 60 (weekly total), Bedspreads Twin 10 (weekly total) White Pillow Slips, 42"X 36" 228 (weekly total),Wash Cloths 12X12, 400 (weekly total) Queen Fitted 120 (weekly total), Queen Flat Sheets, 120 (weekly total) The contractor shall pick up and deliver to building 36, Patton Quadrangle, finished articles that are sanitized, free of stains, dust free and neatly packaged. The contractor will be subjected to periodic inspections to ensure that proper cleaning and handling of soiled materials is being accomplished in accordance with state and federal agencies. All pick ups and deliveries shall be accomplished on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to perform these services. The Contarctor shall obtain all necessary cards, decals, and or other items required for the access to the area in which the work will be performed before beginning service. Delivered items shall conform to the generally accepted industry standards of quality cleanliness, finish and appearance. The proposed contract shall be for one year, Base period (24 September 2007 - 23 September 2008). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, with price and price-related factors considered: Service to be accessed from LAAFB, EL Segundo, CA 90245.
