- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT897214A004; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19 and Defense DCN 20070828. This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312. The business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2815. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3621. This request for quotation consists of the following : Cummins Diesel Generator Set K-38 Series Parts OR EQUAL Item 0001: Cover Gear Housing: 2 each; Cummins Part Number: 3177545 OR EQUAL. Item 0002: Cover Plate: 2 each; Cummins Part Number: 206158 OR EQUAL. Item 0003: Bracket Adjuster: 5 each; Cummins Part Number: 3626801 OR EQUAL. All equal items must meet or exceed the features of the items described. All equal items must be compatible with Cummins K-38 Series Diesel Generators. The delivery location is Travis AFB, California. Ensure you include the delivery time for project completion. Upon award the contractor will be required to coordinate delivery with the customer. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial.
