LINCOLN HOME NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, SPRINGFIELD, IL 62701-1905 - Archeological Services for Dean Barn Phase III Data Recovery Plan will include 1) Pre-Field Investigations, Coordination and Literature Review, 2) Archaeological Field and Laboratory Methods, and (3) Cultural Resources Investigation Report Preparation. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NUMBER (RFQ) - Q653007712A. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL QUOTERS - This is a 100% set-aside for small business contractors. NAICS CODE: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541720. SIZE STANDARD: The small business size standard is $6.5 million in average annual receipts. MAGNITUDE OF PROCUREMENT: Between $10,000 and $50,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm-fixed price contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Completion will be 18 months from date of contract award. DELIVERABLES: All deliverables are to be made to the Lincoln Home National Historic Site, 413 S. 8th Street, Springfield, IL 62701-1905. SERVICE CONTRACT ACT WILL APPLY FOR THIS AREA. PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be issued on or about September 21, 2007 with a response date of not later than October 22, 2007. RFQ packages may be obtained via the internet by accessing the National Business (NBC) Opportunies website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov or by contacting the Point of Contact (POC) identified in this announcement. ALL QUOTES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN HARD COPY. NO ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. EFFECTIVE October 1, 2003, ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) database is mandatory to be granted an award. If a successful Quoter has not been registered in the CCR database, or is not active in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Offcier, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful active registered Quoter. Quoters who are not registered should consider applying for registration immediately upon receipt of the Request for Quotation. The Central Contractor Registration website can be accessed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. AWARD: An award will be made contingent upon availability of funds. Award will be made as a best value to the government with price, availability, and past archeological experience with the government equal.
