- The government intends to issue an unrestricted, Brand Name Mandatory requirement for photographic equipment. The following required brand name items shall be delivered sand shall match the existing equipment being replaced. Any equal product shall meet or exceed the brand name product required. The required brand name parts are as follows: 2 each, SONY UPW-X166/68 wireless UHF Lavalier microphone systems with mics, receiver module for MB-806A tuner base unit and body pack transmitter, channels 66 to 69, 2 each, SONY HVRDR60 hard disk, 60 GB recorder for use with HVR-VIU HDV video camcorder, 10 each, NIKON D2X digital cameras, 12.4 mega pixels, interchangeable lens, SLR, 2 each, SENNHEISER SEMKH418S microphones, 3 each, AVID XPRESS PRO HD, P/N 0560-03601-01 with Mojo, 4 each, NIKON NIKKOR 2148 lens, 10.5mm F/2.8G IF-ED AF DX Fisheye, 4 each, NIKON 80-400mm, F 4.5-5.6 VR lens, 1 each, TUNGSTEN SOLO six light kit, P/N TO96Z, 4 each SONY HDV compact desktop deck, P/N SOHVRM15U, 3 each, SONY VEGAS editing software for Windows, P/N SOV7PDVD, 1 each, WIDETONE background paper, 107 inches X 50 yards, white, 1 each, WIDETONE background paper, 107? X 50 yards, super black, 2 each, CANON XH-A1 3CCD HDV camcorder, 1 each, ULTIMATE shotgun microphone, P/N SEMKH60UK, STUDIO MOONLIGHT DELUXE light kit, P/N MLKIT2, 1 each, WIDESCREEN miniDV, camcorder kit, P/N CAXL2SK1 and 1 each, digital camera, SLR kit, P/N HA503CWD. The referenced parts are to be utilized with the command?s existing equipment. It is essential that a one-for-one replacement or better, of components be accomplished with minimum to no substitutions or alternatives. This requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price type contract for supplies for use onboard a Navy vessel located in Norfolk, Virginia. The proposed RFQ N00189-07-T-0517 will be posted on or before 06 September 2007 with a response date of 14 September 2007. The desired shipment date is before 31 October 2007. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 443130. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that the prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make the offeror ineligible for award.
