- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for the purchase of 150 each storage battery shipping crates. This Requirement is set aside for small businesses. Battery crates to be fabricated as shown on Attachment ? 1. Attachment ? 1 consists of material list for (1) battery crate and sketches. Must use standard practices in nailing framing members and plywood so that nails do not protrude. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00189-07-Q-PU52 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. The standard NAICS classification is 321920. Pricing shall be FOB Destination, Delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Receiving Officer BLDG 514, 1400 Faragut Avenue, Bremerton Washington, 98314-5001. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Offerors are requested to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with proposals. The following clauses / provisions also apply to this acquisition: 52,212-4, 52.212-5 (including 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33). (Note: Federal Acquisition Regualtion (FAR) text is available at http://www.arnet.gov/far.). Quotations shall include the vendor?s cage code, DUNs number, TIN (taxpayer identification number).
