- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subparts 12.6 and 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation. The NAICS code is 541330. NOAA requires spare parts for a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) being manufactured by Phoenix International of Largo, Maryland. The names and quantities of the parts are set forth as follows. These parts shall be packed in containers sufficient to adequately protect them during shipping and storage aboard a seagoing vessel, and include itemized lists identifying the items and their manufacturer and part numbers. The number in parentheses indicates the quantity for each item: Manipulator Controller (1); Fiber Mux Equipment (1); HMI Lamp (2); Pressure Sensor (1); Thruster Prop and Spinner (2); 5HP Motor (1); 10 HP Motor (1); NWM, Motor Controller, Spares (1); Subsea PC Spares (1); Topside PC Spares (1); AHRS, Attitude and Heading Reference System (1); Can Modules (1); Hydraulic Pump (1); DC Power Supply, 600W 24V (2); DC Power Supply, 150W 24V (2); DC Power Supply 50W 5V (2); Hydraulic Filter (1); Cooling Pump Motor (1); Cooling Pump Spares (1); Cooling System Compensator (1); Cooling Pump Motor Controller (1); Misc Connector Kit (1); GFM, Ground Fault Monitor (1); Fiber Penetrators (1); Topside Contactor (1); Topside Breaker (1); Pilot Joystick (1); Compensator Spares Kit (1); Valve Pack Spares (2); Motor Bottle Breaker (1); and Complete Spare Fiber Multiplexer System (1). All prices quoted shall be on a firm-fixed price basis. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-20. The provisions and clauses may be downloaded at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-l, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition and there is no addenda to this provision; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items. The Government may award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation which will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and there is no addenda to this provision; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and there is no addenda to this provision; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. All interested contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the CCR website (www.ccr.gov).
