Description
This amendment incorporates responses to questions resulting from the site visit dated 7 Sep 07. QUESTION: Will the base provide a suitable storage area for equipment and will it be provided with electrical power? RESPONSE: Yes, the base can provide an area for equipment to be stored. If contractor would like to bring a trailer on site, electricity can be provided to the trailer. QUESTION: If digging permits are required, will Bolling acquire the proper permits and provide the location of existing utilities? RESPONSE: A 332 has already been submitted and approved by the CES/CC. QUESTION: Does building 6126 have emergancy generator power and if not, will Bolling be responsible for providing an emergency generator for that building. RESPONSE: Bldg 6126 does not have a back-up generator; CES can provide back-up power for this facility. QUESTION: Does the 11th Security Forces Squadron use the current ERAD for remote audio monitoring? RESPONSE: Yes, the 11 SFS does use ERAD for remote audio monitoring to at least one location. QUESTION: Can you be more specific in defining the following statement in the SOW? ?Services/Installation shall take place no later than 18 Sep 07? RESPONSE: The contained Statement means, the contractor has to start incurring costs (i.e. purchasing materials, preparing the work area etc..) QUESTION: Will drawings be provided? Preferably AutoCAD format for buildings 421 and 6126. RESPONSE: Requested through Mrs. McKelvy/11 CES QUESTION: Are there any SCIFs that will be monitored using the back-up system? RESPONSE: Yes, several SCIFs will be monitored including Bldg P-20, 520 and 1304. QUESTION: Will Bolling accept our proposal for an ASN 5.0 Upgrade with a Redundant System as an option to this solicitation? RESPONSE: No. Contracting is only accepting proposals for Solicitation FA7012-07-T-0057 as advertised. QUESTION: Since there was no access to the communications closet in building 6126, could photos of the closet be provided? RESPONSE: Will try to provide pictures/drawings before proposal closing date. QUESTION: Can you confirm that fiber has been connected to building 6126? RESPONSE: Fiber is in this location but to support any further requirements an upgrade is required. If only need 1 Strand ? This may be available. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
