- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform Base/AMARG Grounds Maintenance Services at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Arizona. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The work is described as follows: Maintain improved grass, improved desert landscaping, semi-improved grass, tree trimming and pruning, policing, weeding, fertilizing and watering improved grounds IAW Performance Work Statement. Period of performance will be a nine month basic period and four one year options. Anticipated start date is 1 January 2008. This requirement is 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN SMALL BUSINESS. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 561730. The Request for Proposal will be issued using Past Performance/Price Trade-Off IAW FAR 15.101-1 resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The solicitation will be issued electronically on a date yet to be determined on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.eps.gov; paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be scheduled at a future date in the 355th Contracting office conference room.
