Description

The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, is issuing a Sources Sought for Refurbishment of a Fire Truck. NAICS Code 336120- Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit interest and capabilities from vendors to develop an appropriate procurement strategy. At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The contract type is anticpated to be a FFP requirements and the contract duration is anticipated to be ten months. Individuals or busine sses interested in this requirement are requested to complete the market survey located at the Directorate of Contractings Home Page: http://www.drum.army.mil/sites/directorates/contracting.asp. Hard copies of the survey will not be available. The surve y is to be completed in its entirety. This is not a request for competitive proposals and will not result in a contract award. Since this a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exits and vendors should not request a copy of a solicitation. Fort Drum is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. Fort Drum will not accept telephone inquiries. To ensure full consideration, Fort Drum must receive all responses to this market survey by 3:00 pm, September 7, 2 007. Vendors must submit market survey responses in the manner as detailed within the survey itself. Only those responses submitted through the Fort Drum market survey procedures will be accepted.
