Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Discipline, Middleton, Wisconsin, intends to make award on a sole source basis to Campbell Scientific for datalogging equipment that can measure a wide variety of sensors and use a radio frequency spectrum compatible with current USGS infrastructure. This equipment is needed to replace current Campbell Scientific instruments in the field which have failed. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about September 14, 2007, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
