- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under RFQ N00189-07-T-00608. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Norfolk Office intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis: (1) 1 Group consisting of the following: GSA Rated Modular Vault, conforming to GSA Specification AA-V-2737, 14 Feet 0 inches Wide X 19 Feet 0 inches Deep X 8 Feet 6 inches (Inside Dimensions), 14 Feet 10 inches Wide x 19 Feet 10 inches Deep X 8 Feet 11 inches High (Outside Dimension), (4) Four GSA Approved HVAC Vent Port Panels, (4) Four 1 ? inches Conduit Openings, Panel Thickness: GSA Lightweight Panels @ 5 inches, Vault system weight (Estimated) 25,080 LBS, Five-sided System and GSA Rated Vault Door, One (1) UL Listed GSA Approved Class-5 Vault Doors, conforming to GSA specification AA-D-600C with Group 1 Locking Mechanism, 40 inches X 78 inches clear opening (Single Leaf), Doors have (1) Group 1 combination lock ( S & G 8850 ) with an emergency escape mechanism, standard daygate with weapon issue port included (Dutch style and Basic model), door weight 1,500 LBS, Furnished and Installed (Five-Sided), Concrete or Steel Determination based on PWC Approval.
